Marie and I feel human this morning. Mateo graced us with a 5 hour block of sleep last night. Lets see if we can get that to happen again tonight. Its amazing how differently you feel and how its such a simple thing. We have been having fun with Mateo during the day, he opens his eyes and looks around. Here he is throwing gang signs as he gets accustomed to the West Coast (our friend Matt who is an assistant principal will really appreciate this since he deals with this kind of stuff daily). I learned a lesson about burping Mateo yesterday. The first couple of days I had been burping him, he never spit up, so I stopped putting a rag over my shoulder. We sure enough yesterday morning he spit up all over one of my shirts. So I changed. Then later yesterday afternoon he was a little fussy so I picked him up and had him on my shoulder. Well he was fussy because he had to spit up....another shirt in the laundry. I am seeing that there will be a lot more laundry done in our house.

If Mateo went to the school where I work, he would be given a 2 day suspension for that and have to sign a gang contract.

Hey Tio Joe I appreciate your approval of the site. I just like the fact that you guys can easily check out what we are up to. As for the sag thing its specifically talking about sagging your pants, like all the cool kids do. I think the wierdest trend is for boys to wear skin tight jeans, but then sag those too. That makes no sense!
I think that Mateo looks like both Mommy & Daddy. Maybe in a few months will vote again. It seems like you are doing a great job as new parents.
