We went to Bate's Nut Farm for the actual day of Mateo's birthday. We spent the afternoon walking through the pumpkin patch and looking at some animals. Mateo loved to play with the straw and was more fascinated by it than the large pumpkins.

Did you find one to take home and carve?
Layers?! It was one of the hottest days we had in awhile! But we got a little bit of rain the other weekend and Marie and I both agreed that it would be nice to experience seasons. Marie wouldn't let me take home the 150lb pumpkin so we got a smaller size. But we will be up in Hollister with my family for Halloween so we should have some great trick or treating stories. Hope you guys survive the weather!
