It seems like this has happened over night. Mateo has been standing a lot and occasionally taking a few steps, but over the weekend he really took off. You can see he is still wobbly on his legs but is getting some good distance. It was really funny when Mateo started to crawl towards Dulce and she got up and walked down the hall. Well Mateo stood up and started walking towards her and she looked a little worried that he was actually going to catch up. Watch out world (especially Mateo's parents) Mateo is on the run!

Oh we already had our first incident this weekend. We went to Disneyland and the hotel we were at had a coffee table. Mateo went head first into the table and cut the corner of his eye. Then he climbed out of the portable crib we brought and scuffed his forehead. After that he squished his fingers in one of the cabinets. This was all in a 30 minute period so I quickly made us leave the room of death and go for a walk. Mateo survived and we will have some pictures up soon.
