Mateo continues to do a lot of sleeping. You can see that he prefers to sleep on top of people, who in turn also fall asleep. Mateo went to a doctor's appointment today and continues to be healthy. He now weighs 8lbs 6 ozs. The doctor stated that most baby's do not surpass their birth weight for at least 3 to 4 weeks, but Mateo is an over achiever and did that in less than 2 weeks! At least we know he is a good eater. Grandma Galaz helped Marie take Mateo to the doctor's office today since Daddy returned to work this week. Mateo greeted Daddy today by soiling his diaper when he held him and then soiled it again as he changed him. I guess he was making up for lost time. Posts might be a little less frequent now, hopefully once or twice a week. Mateo's mommy continues to be doing well and is recovering, but could always use more sleep time.

Keep the pictures coming...I love seeing updates. So, I see that child rearing has already become competitive, so is he also MENSA qualified yet, I mean he is almost 3 weeks old now!?!?!?
