Waiting...

We have officially past our due date. The due date was yesterday the 25th and we went to the doctor today. We did a cervical exam and Marie is slightly more dilated as compared to last week. He also did an ultrasound and said the baby is looking safe and healthy and that there seems to be enough fluid for the baby. A heart rate exam was also completed for the baby and that also turned out normal. So at this point we are just waiting. Marie has not experienced any contractions or cramping so we wait. We have already scheduled an induction with the hospital for October 5th, so at the latest we will be parents in 9 days!
